Dr Kanthi Vemuri is an Infectious Diseases physician with an interest in infections of immunocompromised patients. She is currently based at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane, where she provides expertise in the management of complex infectious syndromes across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr Vemuri completed her specialist training in Queensland and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2021. She subsequently undertook a prestigious fellowship in Immune Compromised Host Infections at the University of North Carolina, USA, in 2023, further deepening her knowledge in this field.
Her clinical experience spans a wide spectrum of infectious diseases, including post-surgical infections, fever of unknown origin, infections in immunocompromised and chronic infectious conditions in the outpatient setting.
Dr Vemuri is committed to improving health outcomes through collaborative, evidence-based care and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient care.
