Dr Kapil Gupta

Dr Kapil Gupta is the Director of Rehabilitation at Beleura Private Hospital and looks after both inpatients and outpatients at the hospital. He has extensive experience working in both public and private health sectors and currently has public appointments within Peninsula Health and Monash Health. His main public inpatients for rehabilitation are at Rosebud Hospital. Dr Gupta has a clinical interest in Chronic Pain,  Parkinson’s and the  Cardiac Rehabilitation programs.

He graduated from the prestigious Grant Medical College and completed both his basic and advanced Physician training in India before migrating to Australia almost two decades ago. Thereafter he underwent advanced training in Rehabilitation Medicine in a variety of accredited posts in teaching hospitals in Southern, Eastern, Alfred and finally Peninsula Health. This encompassed the full range of rehabilitation programs of Neuro, Ortho, Cardiac, Amputee, Spinal and Brain Injury (ABI) as well as Chronic Pain and Reconditioning at various institutions especially in South-East Melbourne and the City.
