In addition to her private practice, Dr Abel has a public appointment at the Mercy Hospital for Women, consulting in general pregnancy & perinatal medicine clinics (including maternal-fetal medicine & recurrent miscarriage), early pregnancy assessment clinic, & gynaecology units. She manages the tertiary-level birth suite and maintains frequent operating lists & ultrasound sessions. She has extensive experience in both high-risk obstetrics & low-risk normal pregnancies. She provides specialised care for twins, VBAC, diabetes, complex medical conditions & pregnancies at risk of preterm birth.

High risk obstetrics, diabetes, vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC), complex medical conditions, pregnancies at risk of preterm birth or pregnancy loss, cervical insufficiency (including placement of cervical cerclage), recurrent miscarriage, multiple pregnancy (twin pregnancy), managing IVF-conceived pregnancies.
