Dr Ketan Bavishi

Dr Ketan graduated from the University of Gujarat, India in 1987 and completed specialist training in haematology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. I became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2009. I moved to Cairns in 2010 and joined at Liz Plummer Cancer Centre and started private practice in 2016 and currently work at Plexus haematology.

I remains actively engaged in blood cancer clinical trials and also teaching haematology advanced trainees and physician trainees.

His clinical approach is orientated towards patient care and maintaining strong clinical ties with general practitioners.
