Dr Dobbie gained her medical degree at UNSW in 1989 and completed her Fellowship training through the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (Royal Australian College of Physicians) and was the recipient of the Faculty's Basmajian award for the best overall performance in Fellowship Examinations of the graduating cohort in 1996. Dr Dobbie has 24 years experience working as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine. She has worked at John Flynn Hospital for the past 15 years and as Director of Rehabilitation (from 2005 to present) which played a pivotal role in establishing and developing the rehabilitation service that currently operates at John Flynn.
