Dr Kim Proudlove is a rehabilitation physician, having achieved her fellowship in 2014. She grew up in Canada, and has undergone all her medical training in Australia.
She has previously worked for 10 years in a state-wide brain injury unit at Caulfield Hospital within Alfred health in Melbourne, where she managed complex disability, and neurorehabilitation. She has also worked for 12 years at Cabrini Hospital in Melbourne where she cared for older persons after conditions such as strokes, osteoporotic fractures, Parkinson's Disease, post-operative care and frailty from multiple medical conditions.
Dr Proudlove relocated to Cairns and commenced working at Cairns public hospital in 2025, where she continues to care for those with disability and neurological conditions such as MS, spinal cord injury, MS, Parkinson's Disease and stroke. She works with patients to promote independence within a rehabilitation model of care, and manage recovery and reconditioning after medical and surgical issues.
