DR KYLIE SNOOK

Dr Kylie Snook is a Sydney trained General Surgeon who practices exclusively in breast surgery.  She has over ten years experience in the surgical management of patients with breast cancer and benign breast pathology with a special interest in breast reconstruction procedures and optimising cosmetic outcomes.  She is a VMO at Northern BreastScreen, North Shore Private Hospital and Hornsby Hospital, as well as Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney.  

 Dr Snook enjoys teaching and mentoring younger surgeons, and is a faculty member of the USyd Graduate Certificate Course on Breast Surgery as well as an instructor for the Breast SurgANZ workshops.  She is the current Vice President of BreastSurgANZ, the peak body for surgeons in Auistrlia and New Zealand who treat breast cancer patients  

She has an holistic approach to patient care and emphasis her role as one of keeping patients well, rather than treating their illness.  Dr Snook is married with three kids of her own so understands the constant juggle that many patients face when incorporating their breast cancer diagnosis and treatment into their daily routine.
