Dr Lauren Luiz

Dr Luiz has expertise in comprehensive geriatric assessment, dementia and cognitive disorders, Parkinson's disease, falls and frailty, delirium, polypharmacy, osteoporosis, behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), and chronic complex medical conditions. She has a strong clinical foundation in palliative care, with a particular interest in advance care planning, symptom management and patient-centred care for people with life-limiting illness.

She provides inpatient physician and geriatric medicine services at Peninsula Private Hospital and consults privately from Frankston Medical & Specialist Centre, 15 Hastings Road, Frankston. She also provides specialist assessments and ongoing reviews for residents of Residential Aged Care Facilities across the Mornington Peninsula, with referrals coordinated through Peninsula Internal Medicine.

Dr Luiz is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and works closely with patients, families and referring practitioners to optimise health, independence and quality of life.
