Dr Leah Brown

Dr Leah Brown completed her Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees through the University of Melbourne.Thereafter she commenced her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at Royal Hobart Hospital before returning to her hometown of Melbourne. Leah has gained invaluable experience through ongoing training at Northern Health, Mercy Hospital for Women, Northeast Health Wangaratta and Albury Wodonga Health services.

Leah is a Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, and awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2020.

She holds a public appointment at Northern Health where she manages both low and highrisk pregnancies and general gynaecological conditions.

Leah is passionate about Women’s health and focuses on patient centred care.

• Abnormal cervical screening tests (CST)/Colposcopy (C-QuIP certification)
• Management of menstrual disorders such as heavy or abnormal bleeding
• Laparoscopic surgery for benign conditions (ovarian cysts, pelvic pain)
• Contraception and family planning
