Dr Lucia Saliba

Dr Saliba is trained and accredited in Australia as a General Surgeon with interests in breast and general surgery including breast reconstruction.

Dr Saliba graduated from the University of NSW in 1995 and then went on to complete her General Surgery Fellowship in 2003. In 2005, Dr Saliba completed her Breast and Endocrine Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She has been trained locally and overseas in areas related to breast reconstruction, breast oncoplastics and breast cancer therapy.

As well as her interest in the treatment of breast cancer and in particular breast reconstruction, Dr Saliba has a breadth of knowledge and experience in breast and general surgery, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, hernia repair (open and laparoscopic) and cholecystectomy.

Dr Saliba has a passion for education, and is a conjoint lecturer at the University of NotreDame, as well as providing regular educational events and interactive talks with General Practitioners. Dr Saliba also teaches and supervises junior medical staff and surgical registrars in the fields of Breast and General Surgery.
