Dr Man-Shun Wong is a General Surgeon with advanced subspecialty training in Endocrine Surgery and Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) Surgery.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and undertook General Surgical training on the Gold Coast. Dr Wong then completed a two-year fellowship in Upper GI surgery at the Gold Coast University Hospital, gaining expertise in Oesophageal, Gastric, and Bariatric procedures.
He subsequently undertook further subspecialty training at the Royal North Shore Hospital, where he was selected for the prestigious International TS Reeve Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery—a distinction achieved by only a small number of Australian surgeons.
Dr Wong is actively involved in surgical education. He is a Senior CCrISP Instructor with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He has presented internationally, published research, and received the Best Clinical Research Prize at the Annual Scientific Conference
