Dr Maree Lee

Dr Maree Lee is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with expertise in fertility and gynaecology care consulting privately across Westmead, Alexandria and Sydney CBD. Known for her confident yet calm nature, Maree believes that each patient is unique and takes the time to understand each situation and work collaboratively with her patients to achieve their goals.

Maree is in the final stages of obtaining subspecialist Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI). This is the highest qualification for Fertility Specialists in Australia and is held by less than 2% of practicing Australian Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. This involves 3 years of dedicated training in Assisted reproduction,

Reproductive endocrinology, Complex infertility, Male infertility, Fertility preservation, Paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, Genetics, Menopause and Reproductive surgery. With this extra training, you can trust Maree to provide expert care in all aspects of Reproductive Medicine.

Maree graduated from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and has trained across top hospitals across Victoria and NSW. Maree holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine (MRMed) from the University of New South Wales and is a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at Western Sydney University.

Maree has completed research in Recurrent Miscarriage and Fertility preservation and is currently completing a Master of Genomics at the University of Sydney. Maree also has a keen interest in immunology and how the immune system impacts fertility and offers treatments targeting this.

When not working Maree enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking and being a cat mum to two very demanding British shorthairs.
