Dr Mario Zotti

Dr Zotti practices as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a particular interest in spine surgery. He is located at the  Back and Neck Clinic in Southport.  After completing his Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University in Melbourne (first class honours), Dr Zotti undertook specialist orthopaedic training and a Master of Surgery in South Australia.  He is currently a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.  He has completed two fellowships in Spinal surgery being a Post Fellowship Education and Training-accredited Spinal Fellowship on the Gold Coast and AOA accredited fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Dr Zotti’s philosophy is to assist his patients in improving their symptoms through a precision diagnosis and evidence based conservative management. When an appropriate course of conservative management has failed, Dr Zotti canvasses surgical options and day procedure pain interventions with his patients where indicated. 

Dr Zotti is a visiting medical officer at John Flynn Private Hospital and his academic affiliation is with the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at Bond University where he is an honorary Assistant Professor.  Referrals are welcomed for private patients and medico-legal work.
