Dr Mark Hohenberg

Mark is an aged care specialist physician (geriatrician) who focuses on empowering patients and families to manage medical issues as someone ages as well as maintain independence. Mark works with a team of health professionals to deliver contemporary (modern) and evidence-based healthcare with a focus on achieving the outcomes you want. Mark has expertise in managing frailty, falls, cognitive decline and malnutrition. Mark also works with surgeons to support a person who is planning surgery to not just optimise outcomes but also to reduce the risk of worsening cognition which can be associated with operations in some individuals.

Mark has consulting rooms locally over the road from Kareena Private Hospital in Caringbah and has consulting rooms in Narellan also. Mark admits patients to Kareena Private Hospital as well as supporting other physicians and surgeons at Kareena for their patients as required.
