Dr Mark Wong

Dr Mark Wong graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011 and subsequently completed his haematology specialist training at the Gold Coast University Hospital, Mater Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal Autralasian College of Physician. Apart from his private practice, he also holds staff specialist appointments in the public sector. Having trained in various hospitals throughout Queensland including Rockhampton, Townsville, Gold Coast and Brisbane, Dr Wong is experienced in connecting with patients from various demographics. He believes that good patient care starts with good communication with patients as well as with their referring doctors.

During his training days, Dr Wong has gain valuable experience in clinical trials, investigation and management of various malignant and non-malignant disorders. Currently, Dr Wong is involved in clinical trials and practices general haematology, covering both malignant and non-malignant aspects including stem cell transplant, bleeding/ thrombosis disorders and obstetric related haematological disorders.

Having born and raised in Singapore, Dr Wong is bilingual in both Mandarin and English languages.
