Dr Mathew Keegan is a Gastroenterologist, Advanced Interventional Endoscopist, and Pancreaticobiliary Specialist with a strong focus on screening and minimally invasive procedures to support early detection and prevention of gastrointestinal disease and cancer. He manages complex gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and biliary conditions, with expertise in high-quality gastroscopy, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, EMR/ESD, polypectomy, and small bowel investigation (e.g. enteroscopy). His clinical interests include Barrett’s oesophagus, cancer screening, IBD, and the endoscopic management of gastrointestinal issues, including large polyps and early cancer. He studied at UNSW and trained in Australia, the UK, France, and Belgium, and is known for his thorough, evidence-based, patient-centred care.
