His clinical practice includes the management of menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, cervical screening abnormalities and colposcopy, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary symptoms, menopause and perimenopause, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and fertility concerns.

Matthew is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), completing his training in South East Queensland. He undertook an Advanced Laparoscopy and Fertility position at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, with experience in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, hysteroscopy, fertility management and colposcopy.

He provides a range of procedures across gynaecology, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, salpingectomy and oophorectomy, hysteroscopic management of fibroids and polyps, vaginal surgery, and general gynaecological procedures.

Matthew also provides fertility care, including preconception counselling, fertility assessment, ovulation induction and assisted reproductive treatment, including IVF, in partnership with Life Fertility Clinics at North Lakes and Herston.

In addition to private practice, he is a Staff Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Redcliffe Hospital and is involved in training RANZCOG trainees and junior medical staff, as well as clinical education, accreditation activities and research.
