Dr Matthew Schwass is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in complex hip and knee replacement, revision arthroplasty, trauma surgery, and sports injury management. He provides comprehensive orthopaedic care across both public (Coffs Harbour Hospital) and private (Baringa Hospital) settings.
Dr Schwass has undertaken extensive specialist training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, followed by fellowship training in complex and revision joint replacement and musculoskeletal tumour surgery at major tertiary centres including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, and Sydney Children’s Hospital.
