Dr Matthew Thompson

Dr Matt Thompson is a Consultant Geriatrician and General medicine specialist new to Port Macquarie. He has joined the aged care outreach service (ACOS) which is part of MNC Virtual care. In his pervious role in Wagga Wagga he was head of the Geriatrics department. He has a sub-specialty interest in peri-operative care of the elderly and an interest in service improvement and virtual care. He is the current holder of the Golden hip award for most improved hip fracture outcomes.
