Dr Melissa Jennings is a Specialist Gastroenterologist who focuses in colonoscopy, endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disorders, interventional endoscopy. Her main areas of interest include eosinophilic oesophagitis, coeliacs, bowel cancer screening, and irritable bowel syndrome Dr Jennings can offer minimal waiting times, welcomes open access referrals and is a no gap provider for gastroscopy and colonoscopy with most health funds.
Background & Training
Dr Melissa Jennings trained in Sydney at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and came to Perth to complete a Fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital in ERCP and biliary medicine. After expanding her sub-specialty training in ERCP with a Fellowship in Dublin and Trinity College, she returned to a consultant gastroenterology position at Royal Perth Hospital. She has been practicing private gastroenterology since her return in 2010.
