Dr Michael Bint

Dr Michael Bint is Respiratory and Sleep Physician who has practised on the Sunshine Coast for over 20 years.

Michael graduated with honours from the University of Queensland in 1978. He was awarded his post graduate FRACP in 1985 and commenced a Clinical Research Fellowship at The Prince Charles Hospital. He was involved in research projects primarily associated with lung cancer and was presented with an Inaugural Clinical Research Fellowship by the Queensland Cancer Fund in 1986.

Michael has been the director of the Respiratory and Sleep Department at both Nambour General Hospital and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. He is a current visiting specialist at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital.  Michael has expertise in all areas of respiratory medicine and has a particular passion for lung cancer and airways disease. He is skilled in advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures.

Michael is a compassionate and dedicated physician and has been a great advocate for patients and a mentor to innumerable physicians throughout the Sunshine Coast and Queensland.
