About
Dr Michael Catanach is a fully qualified and Australia trained Orthopaedic surgeon. After completing his medical degree at Sydney University in 2011, he moved to Newcastle and completed his specialist orthopaedic training at John Hunter Hospital, the busiest major trauma centre in NSW.
The Australian specialist orthopaedic training program is considered one of the best in the world and covers all orthopaedic areas including shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, foot, ankle as well as tumour and paediatrics.
Michael's passion is to provide exceptional care to every patient. From a warm welcome at the first appointment, an in-depth conversation about what is really causing the problem and the ability to offer a range of treatment options.
