Dr Maclean completed his medical degree at the University of Auckland (UoA), is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and an Associate Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney Medical School. He takes a recovery-oriented approach to mental health in delivering evidence-based treatments tailored to each patient's clinical presentation, values, and circumstances. His treatment approach integrates medications, psychotherapy, nutrition and lifestyle domains.
Based at Ramsay Clinic Northside, Dr Maclean assesses and treats a range of mental health difficulties. His particular clinical interests include Substance, Medication, and Behavioural Addictions, Perinatal Substance Use, Chronic Pain & Addictions, ADHD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviours, Mood & Anxiety Disorders and Driving Assessments in adults aged 18–65.
