Dr Mini Zachariah

Clinical Practice

Dr. Mini Zachariah is an established Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Perth and provides consultation and treatment for general gynaecological problems. Mini works at Hollywood Private Hospital and also holds the post of Specialist Gynaecologist at King Edward Memorial Hospital. She has a focus and expertise in complex laparoscopic surgery and the treatment of endometriosis, surgical treatment for uterovaginal prolapse, medical and surgical treatment for menstrual disorders and fibroids, colposcopy and subfertility assessment and management. Mini is the Clinical Lead for the Multidisciplinary team “Venus” for the management of endometriosis and pelvic pain, a training program supervisor for the O&G specialist trainees with the RANZCOG and a Senior Clinical Lecturer for the medical students at UWA. 

 

Background & Training

Mini completed her Specialist training (CCST) in the UK before taking up a Consultant position at King Edward Memorial Hospital in 2007 where she was the Director of Emergency Department for 5 years in addition to being a Consultant O&G. She had extensive skills training in advanced minimal access surgery and reproductive medicine as part of her training program and has a special interest in complex laparoscopic surgery and the surgical management of deep infiltrating endometriosis.
