Dr Miriam Lee

Miriam migrated from Hong Kong to Australia with her family at the age of 7.  She completed her schooling in Brisbane and graduated from medicine from the University of Queensland in 1991. She trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in various hospitals in Queensland including Gold Coast; Mater Mothers’; QEII; Logan and Caboolture. Her final years of Obstetrics & Gynaecology training were completed in King Edward Hospital, Perth. There she gained skills in advanced laparoscopic surgery, assisted reproductive technology (ART) and general gynaecology.

After her obstetrics and gynaecology fellowship training in 2001, Miriam continued working in King Edward Hospital as a Visiting Medical Officer and began private practice.

She returned to the Gold Coast in 2004 to be closer to her extended family and commence private practice in Gynaecology. Her interests are in the area of management of vulvo-vaginal disorders, minimal invasive surgery treatment with endometrial ablation, vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence and fertility.
