Dr Mooska Raoofi is a Gynaecologist with a special interest in Urogynaecology and pelvic floor disorders. Her clinical and academic work is dedicated to the management of prolapse, incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic reconstructive surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive and robotic approaches. She has completed 6 years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology training and a further 3 years of subspecialty fellowship in Urogynaecology in Australia and in the UK.
In 2023, she was awarded the Urogynaecological Fellowship through the Urogynaecological Society of Australasia, undertaken at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne. Her fellowship project focused on the preoperative and intraoperative assessment of the uterosacral ligaments in women undergoing pelvic organ prolapse surgery. In the same year, she was also awarded the Epworth Audrey Voss Gynaecological Research Grant, recognising her commitment to advancing women’s health through research and innovation.
Alongside her subspecialty interests, she maintains a broad commitment to general gynaecology, providing care for women across the spectrum of reproductive and post-reproductive health, including the management of menstrual disorders and menopause.
