Dr Nancy Peters

Dr Nancy Peters is an obstetrician, gynaecologist based at Kareena Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital and Sutherland Hospital.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide, and a Masters of Health Leadership and Management from the University of New South Wales. In addition to specialist RANZCOG training, her passion for providing women with the highest standard of surgery led her to undertake an AGES fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynaecological surgery. Her skills and expertise allow her to draw on the latest evidence and research to provide comprehensive care, respecting each patient’s unique history and needs.

Nancy supports vaginal birth, vaginal birth after caesarean, caesarean for maternal choice and maternal assisted caesarean and provides specialised care including for pregnancies with additional medical conditions and twin pregnancy. 

In addition to her busy clinical practice, Nancy advocates for women’s health through a keen interest in research, teaching and mentoring resident doctors and has presented nationally on endometriosis and adenomyosis.
