Dr Navi Bali is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon providing elective and trauma care to the Sunshine Coast. He provides a comprehensive range of orthopaedic care, including robotic direct anterior minimal invasive total hip replacements, robotic muscle sparing total and partial knee replacements, as well as 3D model assisted ankle replacements.  He is also trained in foot and ankle surgery, sports injuries, and trauma care.  He is a top 10 surgeon in Queensland for robotic mako hip and knee replacement volume in 2024 and 2025.

Dr Bali completed his undergraduate training initially in dentistry and then facial surgery before completing medicine, qualifying in both with honours and distinctions. After completing his residency and orthopaedic training, he has worked as a trauma consultant and lower limb arthroplasty surgeon and has undertaken several sub speciality fellowships with experts in their field, learning the latest and most reliable techniques to help his patients. 

Dr Bali’s surgical practice is based on advanced technologies and the latest evidence to support patient outcomes.  Dr Bali is one of a few surgeons that provides a combined robotic and muscle sparing approach for his hip and knee replacements, with the aim to reduce discomfort and optimise recovery.  Naturally not all patients require surgery, so a comprehensive range of non-operative techniques are provided, including PRP injections, hyaluronic acid injections and radiofrequency ablation.
