Dr Peng Luen Nicholas Low (or informally Dr Nick) is a General Surgeon with an interest in breast and endocrine surgery.
Following completion of his medical degree through Monash University, Victoria, he was selected to the RACS General Surgery specialist training program which he completed through the Austin/Northern Hospital training hub in Melbourne.
After being awarded his Fellowship in General Surgery, undertook a Breast and Endocrine surgical fellowship at the world-renowned Princess Alexandra Hospital, one of Queensland's leading hospitals. In 2025, he moved to Sydney to take up a staff specialist surgical position at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals in Western Sydney.
Dr Nicholas Low is of Malaysian background and is fluent in multiple languages including Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese, Malay and German.
He has vast experience in both elective and emergency general surgery and is GESA-accredited for endoscopy. Nick is passionate about research, teaching and service innovation. He is a conjoint associate lecturer and clinical examiner for Western Sydney University. He remains heavily involved with his alma mater Monash University in medical student selection process, as an educator through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for various surgical courses, and is a clinical supervisor for surgical trainees in the Blacktown training network.
