Dr Nicole Ong

Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr. Nicole Ong, who has over 20 years of gynaecology private practice experience. She obtained her medical degree from Melbourne University, then pursued her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne. Nicole was privileged to complete a 2-year Advanced Laparoscopic Fellowship at Mercy Hospital by 2004.

 

Nicole’s passion is the management of abnormal uterine bleeding and pelvic pain. She takes a holistic approach, educating her patients about the medical and surgical options available. She uses modern laparoscopic techniques for the treatment of endometriosis (excisional surgery), fibroids, adhesions, and removal of cysts; and hysteroscopic procedures including the Novasure endometrial ablation and Myosure resection of fibroids for the management of dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
