About
Dr Nikola Mitrev is a specialist Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist experienced in diagnosing and managing a wide range of digestive and liver conditions.
He completed his medical degrees at the University of Sydney, earning multiple academic awards for excellence. His specialist training took place at leading hospitals, including Concord Hospital, Gosford/Wyong Hospitals, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He further enhanced his expertise with a fellowship in gastroenterology at Blacktown Hospital.
Dr Mitrev holds a Master’s degree from the University of Sydney, focusing on advanced treatment strategies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). He remains actively involved in research and medical education and is a founding member of the IBD School, helping to advance care for patients with IBD.
Dr Mitrev is dedicated to providing quality, patient-centered care and welcomes new patients seeking expert management of gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
