About
Dr Nikolaus Hammerl is a Specialist General Physician with an interest in managing patients with complex medical problems, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. He also consults surgical patients.
He undertook his medical training in Germany, and practiced from 1982-2006 in a number of hospitals across the country. In early 2006 he moved to Australia where he was appointed as a Visiting Medical Officer at Wimmera Base Hospital in Horsham, Victoria.
He received his Royal Australasian College of Physicians Fellowship in September 2007, and moved to the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Hammerl is fluent in English, German and French.
