Dr Omar Mansour

• Omar is a General Surgeon at Ipswich General Hospital (IGH) and St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital.  Private consulting rooms is at 6 Roderick Street Ipswich, directly next to St Andrew’s Private Hospital.

Omar completed specialist surgical training in Queensland gaining Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in February 2020.

After completing a General Surgery Fellowship at IGH in the latter part of 2020, gaining a range of experience in general, emergency and subspecialty surgery, Omar was appointed as a staff specialist at IGH.

In addition to clinical work, Omar has an interest in teaching, supervision and supporting healthcare and surgical trainees through their vocational journey.

Omar offers a range of consulting and surgical services including open and laparoscopic abdominal surgery, skin and soft tissue surgery, hernia repair, surveillance of surgical conditions, and endoscopic surveillance/intervention (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
