About
Dr Saxena is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon who has trained in Australia, New Zealand, India and the US. He completed Fellowships at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA and at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
Dr Saxena is an adult cardiothoracic surgeon with interests in arterial grafting for coronary artery bypass surgery, mitral valve repairs, surgery for heart failure and for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Dr Saxena has recently moved to Newcastle. He has extensive experience and a track record in clinical and basic science research and is actively involved in several projects currently.
