Dr de Waal is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the Australasian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS)

Dr Patrick de Waal has been living and practising ENT surgery on the beautiful Coffs Coast for the best part of 10 years. He has over 20 years experience in ENT surgery and is passionate about delivering quality paediatric and adult ENT services in a regional environment. He has published articles in international journals and regularly attends both local and international congresses and courses to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. He is involved in teaching the registrars, resident medical officers and medical students at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
