About
Dr Bamford is a cardiologist, currently practicing at John Hunter Hospital and Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. He graduated from Oxford University with two Masters degrees before completing his medical training at the University of Warwick. Dr Bamford completed his advanced training on the Central Coast and interventional and structural fellowships in Newcastle and the UK.
Dr Bamford is the first named author of over a dozen papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and he has presented at national and international conferences. He is passionate about medical education and is a conjoint lecturer at the University of Newcastle.
In addition to performing percutaneous coronary intervention, Dr Bamford has level A accreditation reporting computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA).
