About
Dr Kovac graduated from University of New South Wales in 1997 and completed his urological training in 2000. He has practiced Urology in the Illawarra / South Coast region for the past 17 years and has broad experience.
Some of his main interests in urology include:
- Prostate cancer - he is a pioneer of Robotic and Laparoscopic Prostatectomy surgery in Australia. Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery - treating renal / adrenal tumors, renal obstructions (PUJ).
- Urodynamics - diagnostic services for lower urinary symptoms.
- Enlarged Prostate (BPH) - diagnosis and treatment for benign prostatic hypertrophy
- Endoscopic Surgery - a full range endoscopic surgery for treatment of stone disease
Dr Kovac has published and presented a wide range of urological papers and is committed to continued urological education.
