Dr Paul Watson is a graduate of The University of Queensland and completed his advanced training in Cardiology at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. Paul subsequently pursued his interests in coronary angioplasty and stenting and undertook a senior two year fellowship in The United States at one of Boston’s major teaching hospitals. Paul has been practicing Cardiology in Brisbane since his return back from the United States in 1999.
Dr Watson practices General Cardiology but his special interests include the diagnosis and management of both acute and stable coronary artery disease with direct intervention with coronary angioplasty and stenting.
He operates at the Greenslopes Private Hospital providing inpatient Cardiology services, as well as consulting from his rooms for outpatient appointments. He also provides his services to his practice, the Greenslopes Heart Centre for diagnostic reporting. Dr Watson is the Chair of Cardiology at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
He visits the Redland Heart Centre once a week to provide both outpatient clinical and diagnostic services.
