About
Dr Penny Isherwood commenced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology after graduating from Leeds University in 1985. She spent several years at the IVF unit in St Mary's Hospital, Manchester, attaining membership of the Royal College of O+G (London) in 1988.
She participated in the establishment of a second fertiltiy centre in Manchester and won the Annual British Fertility Society prize for her presentation of strategies of management for Frozen Embryo Replacement.
Dr Isherwood commenced private practice on the Gold Coast in March 2000 and brings a wealth of expertise to the clinic. Her interests include pathology of the uterus, unexplained infertility and the psychology of infertility.
Dr Isherwood has a teenage daughter and outside work enjoys quality time with her family.
