Dr Penni Russell

Penni is a cardiologist with an interest in general cardiology and cardiac imaging.

Originally from Tamworth in regional New South Wales, she first trained as a Nuclear Medicine Scientist before moving to Queensland to study medicine at the University of Queensland, where she graduated with first class honours.

She completed cardiology training across several Queensland health services, followed by a Fellowship in Advanced Echocardiography at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Her clinical interests include stress echocardiography, sports cardiology, and the diagnosis and management of cardiomyopathies.
