DR PETER HANSEN

Dr Peter Hansen is a cardiologist with an interest in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease on the North Shore Campus (RNSH and NSPH). He has further training and skills in complex percutaneous coronary intervention and structural heart disease including TAVI, Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid edge to edge repair (MitraClip and PASCAL), left atrial appendage occlusion (Amulet and Watchman), PFO and ASD closure and TMVR (transcatheter mitral valve replacement). In addition to an active clinical role, Dr Hansen maintains an ongoing research interest in both coronary and structural cardiac intervention. He is a founding member of Structural Heart Disease Australia (SHDA.org.au).
