Rehabilitation Physicians work with people with a disability to help them achieve and maintain an optimal level of performance and improve their quality of life. Rehabilitation medicine includes treatment for a wide assortment of conditions and disabilities, ranging from management of disabilities following major illnesses such as spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke and multiple fractures to rehab treatment following acute sports and musculoskeletal injuries.
