About
Dr Peter Hollett is a Specialists Nephrologist consulting at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
After graduating from the University of Queensland, Dr Hollett was a medical registrar at Nambour Hospital and went on to complete Physician training at Royal Brisbane Hospital. He subsequently undertook his Nephrology and Transplantation training at Princess Alexandra and Royal Adelaide Hospitals.
Dr Hollett moved back to the Sunshine Coast in 2003 as a Consultant Nephrologist in private practice and a VMO in Nephrology at Nambour Hospital. He has played a major role in establishing dialysis units across the Sunshine Coast. Since 2003, Dr Hollett and his colleagues have maintained a 24 hour, 7 day per week Nephrology on call service in public and private practice across the Sunshine Coast.
Dr Hollett has a passion for both public and private medicine and has been the Director of Medical Services Group at Nambour Hospital since 2009 until 2017. He is a keen teacher and researcher and is committed to providing high quality, evidence based care to his patients.
