Dr Philip Smith

Dr Philip Smith (Uro-Doc) has a general urology practice in Cairns, "URO".  His particular interset is in minimally invasive prostate surgery, including:  Urolift, Rezum, and Bipolar Resection/Vapourisation for benign enlargement, as well as Nanoknife focal therapy and Robotic-Assisted Surgery for cancers. 

He sees primarily men with prostate issues, cancers and erection issues.  He has other interests in the areas of vasectomy/vasectomy reversal, urinary incontinence and stone disease of Bladder/Kidney.

Phil and his team at URO are dedicated to utilising the latest research and best practice treatment methods to ensure all of his patients achieve the best outcomes for their ongoing health and wellbeing.  He achieves this by regularly attending both national and international conferences and workshops and has, himself, presented internationally on urological practices.
