Dr. Phillipa (Pippa) Robertson is Obsetrician and Gynaecologist who focuses on minimally invasive gynaecology surgery. She is now consulting at Hollywood Gynaecology and operating at Hollywood Private Hospital. In addition, Dr Robertson continues to work at King Edward Memorial Hospital as a Gynaecologist. Phillipa is dedicated to providing patientcentred, evidence-based care, ensuring that women receive the best possible treatment tailored to their individual needs.
Dr. Robertson’s focus includes the management of endometriosis, ovarian cysts and fibroids, and on improving quality of life and fertility outcomes for her patients. She also has expertise in managing abnormal cervical screen tests, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, vulva disorders, and menopause. Her training in advanced laparoscopic surgery allows her to manage complex cases (both medically and surgically), using minimally invasive techniques.
Background and Training
Dr. Pippa Robertson completed her medical training at Newcastle University, graduating with distinction. She then undertook specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital. Dr. Robertson has held various leadership positions within the hospital system, including Chief Senior Registrar and Registrar, demonstrating her commitment to both clinical excellence and medical leadership. She has also pursued additional training in advanced laparoscopic surgery, allowing her to offer patients state-of-the-art, minimally invasive treatment options.
Research and Teaching
Passionate about research and innovation, Dr. Robertson is actively involved in clinical studies, including her work with the EndoOrigins Biobank, which aims to advance understanding and treatment of endometriosis.
