Dr Pouya Hafezi

Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Pouya Hafezi, a dual qualified pain medicine physican and rehabilitation physician.

He completed his rehabilitation physician training at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2019 and underwent further subspecialty training in pain medicine at Monash Health, St Vincent’s Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital. Pouya was awarded a merit award for his performance in the Faculty of Pain Medicine Fellowship examination in 2021. He went on to further interventional pain training at Melbourne Pain Group.

Pouya has an interest in multidisciplinary medicine. He has an integrative approach to the management of pain conditions. Pouya currently works at Peninsula Health for pain management and private practices in Berwick, Dandenong, Boronia and Glen Waverley.
