About
Dr Prasad Athreya is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspeciality interest in Foot & Ankle surgery. He grew up in Western Sydney and attended James Ruse Agricultural High School, and studied medicine at the University of New South Wales.
After completing his fellowship training with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association, Dr Athreya has completed a foot and ankle fellowship in Sydney, Australia, and a paediatric orthopaedic fellowship at the well renowned Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.
Dr Athreya cares for paediatric patients and treats a wide range of orthopaedic problems both privately on the North Shore and publically and at Westmead Children’s Hospital, and can manage all adult foot and ankle pathologies.
