Dr Puneet Mahindra

Mitcham Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Puneet Mahindra, gastroenterologist and hepatologist.

Puneet completed his initial training at the University Hospital Aintree (Liverpool) and at the University Hospital Coventry. He then finished his fellowship in gastroenterology at Box Hill hospital and the Royal Melbourne hospital (FRACP).

He further accomplished two years of fellowship in advanced endoscopy at St Vincent’s hospital with research on barrett’s oesophagus and oesophageal cancers.

Puneet currently has public appointments with St Vincent’s hospital and Northern Health.

Puneet performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and video capsule endoscopy (Pill cam) as well as bowel cancer screening and prevention and has regular operating lists at Mitcham Private Hospital.
