About
Dr. Qiuye Cheng is a Sydney-based upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgeon with extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Cheng has an interest in metabolic/weight loss surgical treatment and the management of upper gastrointestinal cancers as well as non-cancer conditions. He also offers a full range of surgical treatments for gallbladder related diseases, hernias and endoscopy.
Dr. Cheng currently holds consultations at Tamworth Regional Specialists Centre and operates at Tamara private Hospital. He can provide consultations in both English and Mandarin.
Dr. Cheng grew up in a multi-cultural environment, having resided in China, Canada, United States, Hong Kong and Singapore. He migrated to Australia for University and completed his medical degree at The University of Sydney in 2010. He has also completed a Masters of Surgery in upper gastrointestinal surgery at The University of Sydney in 2016.
