Dr Quarat-Ul-Ain (Anny) Rizvi

Waverley Private Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr Quarat-Ui-Ain Anny Rizvi, gastroenterologist and hepatologist who has joined the practice of Dr Brindi Rasaratnam at the Melbourne Digestive Centre (MDC).

With a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease and luminal gastroenterology, Anny is a valuable addition to the MDC Gastroenterology team. Her professional yet approachable character is centred on her patients and reflects the values that our practice holds.

Anny underwent training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Lyell McEwin hospital, Royal Adelaide hospital and The Queen Elizabeth hospital, Adelaide. She also completed a twelve-month fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease Eastern Health in Melbourne. She has been actively involved in the teaching, research and presented in numerous national meetings. Other than inflammatory bowel disease, her other special interests within gastroenterology include bowel cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, functional gut disease and food intolerances, resistant h pylori infections and Liver abnormalities.
